Find a program

Healthcare and wellness professionals across the country have been trained to provide the GLA:D™ Canada program. You can browse the locations below to identify current clinics in your community that provide the program. All of these sites provide the program through a fee for service model.

There are a few sites that provide the program through public funding (at no cost to the participant). These sites are not identified on this web site as they are not open to the general public and referrals are only accepted from named health care providers such as a family physician or an orthopaedic surgeon. If you are interested in accessing the program through public funding, you will need to speak to your health care provider who will confirm if they have referral privileges to any site.

If there are no programs in your area, ask your healthcare professional about GLA:D™ Canada, and inform them that they may be eligible to become a certified provider by attending a training session.

GLA:D pilot project in Ontario

Through funding provided by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care between 2018 and March 2020, the GLA:D program was made available to a small number of individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis who attended a Rapid Access Clinic in consultation for hip or knee replacement surgery in the Toronto Central LHIN, Champlain LHIN and North West LHIN. The results of this program were extremely successful with patients achieving clinically significant reduction in pain and improvements in their function and quality of life. Unfortunately the program is no longer accepting referrals.

Patients who have gone through the GLA:D™ Canada program are invited to share their feedback with this short form.
