There are significant amounts of research on hip and knee OA every year which results in improved knowledge of the condition and response to treatments.
This Masters Course has been developed to support GLA:D certified clinicians who took their course 3 or 4 years ago to ensure they have the latest information on the research to share with their patients. As all clinicians who are treating patients with the GLA:D program are expected to be up to date in their knowledge of OA and it is recommended that they take the course. It is provided on a cost recovery basis at $150.
The duration of the course is 5-hours and will cover the new research as well as information that will be useful in the implementation of the program within their provinces.
It will be held as a small group with an interactive format that focuses on answering clinicians’ questions and promoting information sharing.
