Clinical Experts

There are significant amounts of research on hip and knee OA every year which results in improved knowledge of the condition and response to treatments. To reflect this increased understanding of the disease the GLA:D materials are updated annually.

Many GLA:D clinicians have taken the course three or four years ago and as such a Masters Course has been developed to support them in upgrading their knowledge of the most recent research.

The duration of the course is 5-hours and will cover the new research as well as information that will be useful to clinicians in the implementation of the program within their provinces. It will be held as a small group with an interactive format that focuses on answering clinicians’ questions and promoting information sharing. Once the course is established it will be mandatory for all clinicians to ensure they remain current in their knowledge.

The courses will be piloted virtually in November and December in the Eastern and Pacific Time Zones. Both courses will be provided at no cost during the pilot phase and are open ONLY to GLA:D clinicians who have been certified over three years ago with experience in implementing the program. Clinicians can register through the GLA:D email at gladcanada.info@gmail.com.  There are limited spots available which will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

The virtual Masters Course has two times to choose from:
Friday, November 27, 2020       8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern
Saturday, December 5, 2020     8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific

Email gladcanada.info@gmail.com to register.
