GLA:D pilot project in Ontario
Through funding provided by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care the GLA:D program is being made available to a small number of individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis in the Toronto Central LHIN, Champlain LHIN and North West LHIN. The individuals who can access the program need to have been assessed for hip or knee replacement surgery by a physiotherapist at one of the Rapid Access Clinics (RAC). A number of the sites involved with the pilot program are not posted on these locations documents as the referral must be made through the RAC. Individuals referred to these programs will be provided the location and contact information by the RAC.
